After you have removed the old cover Once you have removed the old cover, use an flat-head screwdriver to take out the four main attachment clips located on the passenger side of the fob assembly. They are marked with red on the image below. Be aware of the yellow locating tabs that have to be removed.
Replace the battery with a # CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery corresponds to the opening of the fob and that the -" negative side is facing the rubber buttons.
Replace the cover of the passenger's side mirror by aligning locating tabs. After you have completed this, insert the driver side fob back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything works correctly your car should start to turn on the parking lights and the doors will lock automatically.
